Our desire is to raise up 6-12th grade students as mature disciples, and send them out as everyday missionaries to their schools, homes, and anywhere else they find themselves. From weekly Wednesday night gatherings, to our annual events, we want students to grow in their knowledge, love, and obedience to Jesus.

WEDNESDAY NIGHTS AT CEDAR RAPIDS | 6:00-8:30P

Our gatherings are designed for students find a place to belong, to grow in relationship with God through teaching and worship, and invest into each other through connection groups. Every week, students can expect to spend time in their connection group as well as joining all together for a time of worship and teaching. This time is structured to be engaging, fun, biblically sound, and to help set the tone for what it looks like to participate in a local church when they graduate. 

Connection Group is a priority in our ministry. We want every student to belong to a community where they can be vulnerable, ask questions, and learn what it looks like to be in biblical community. Student connection groups are led by adult leaders who love Jesus and desire to invest their lives into teenagers so that teenagers can have another example of what it looks like to follow Jesus as they graduate high school, college, and grow into adulthood.

We believe that teenagers aren’t simply the future of the Church, but are part of the Church here and now. We encourage the students of Veritas Church to be actively involved by finding a place to serve and by participating in worship.
