Whether you personally know God as your Father or you’re curious to learn if the Bible’s words about him are true, we can all grow in our understanding of God and his Word. Over 10 weeks of study, class discussions, and class assignments, explore basic Christian doctrine (the Bible, God, man, salvation, and church) and what God tells us about himself through his Word. By the grace of God, none of us, in this life, can fully grasp who he is, for “The secret things belong to the Lord our God, but the things that are revealed belong to us and to our children forever, that we may do all the words of this law” (Deuteronomy 29:29). Though much about God remains a mystery to us, God has already revealed so much about himself that helps us understand him and bring him glory.

When we gather as a family of believers united by Jesus, we spur one another toward holiness. Beginning in October, we will gather on the first Sunday of every month from 4:00-5:30pm for additional teaching, worship, prayer, and communion as part of our effort to strengthen our church through meaningful membership. Childcare will be available.

If you feel like your spiritual rhythms are somewhat steady, inconsistent, or nonexistent, God’s grace for us is abundant, and it is never too late to ask for the Spirit’s help to refocus on Christ throughout the day. Grow in your devotion to the Lord by learning how to walk in step with the Spirit in various facets of daily life out of an overflow of your joy and love for him. As you participate in this 8-week class and complete class assignments that help you practically apply the spiritual rhythms God’s Word gives, we pray that God would so ignite your love for him that your lifestyle can’t help but reflect it.

Walking with Christ isn’t only a personal journey, it’s also a relational one. As believers who have received and believed in the gospel, we are called to reflect, share, and help others apply the gospel. Even if you view disciple-making as intimidating or like it’s not your “gift”, Jesus commands us and equips all of his people for the work of making disciples. During this 8-week class of Bible study, discussion, and practical coursework, grow in your ability to disciple others as we examine God’s Word and its guidance on nurturing the hearts of those we interact with.
