What was life like before you met Jesus?
Before I met Christ my need was to please everyone. I would worry about how everyone saw me. I was lacking pride, trust, and love. I tried everything from making money, sex, and lying.
How did you meet Jesus?
I met Jesus through a friend. She told me about Veritas and recommend that I should come so on Feb 13th I came to 9 am service. She had me meet Jordan Howell and I talked with Jordan a lot he shared the gospel with me and after talking with him I walked back to my truck and accepted Jesus as my Lord and Savior. I trusted Christ because he helped me realize that I don't need to please everyone, God loves me for who I truly am. His love for me is bigger than anyone can give. Romans 3:27-28 says "Can we boast, then, that we have done anything to be accepted by God? No, because our acquittal is not based on obeying the law. It is based on faith. So we are made right with God through faith and not by obeying the law."
After being saved by Jesus, what is your life like now?
After being saved by Jesus he has showed me love, humbleness, and truthfulness. He gives me a positive outlook on life everyday when I wake up. He gave me incredible friends, a wonderful family, and a wonderful life to live! John 3:16-18 says “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him. Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God.”
