What was life like before you met Jesus?
When I was little we went to church every Wednesday and Sunday. Still, I did not understand the hope that God brings.
How did you meet Jesus?
When I turned 6, I decided to give my life to Jesus when I was at home with my mom. Later, when I was 9, I rededicated my life to Jesus. Joshua 1:9 says “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.” This verse reminds me that God is my protector especially when I become anxious and I am thankful for his love and care for me. I want to be baptized. It is the next step in my life in Christ.
After being saved by Jesus, what is your life like now?
In the 5th grade, I started to feel a lot of pressure and anxiousness and I didn't even want to go to school anymore. I prayed to God every night when I was feeling overwhelmed. God helped me get over the anxiousness and overwhelming feelings I was having. Now I feel like I could do anything with God working through me.
