What was life like before you met Jesus?
Before I met Jesus, I struggled with claustrophobia and other fears. I looked to my parents for help. I was also bullied and looked to my parents and teachers for help because I didn't know what to do. I lacked confidence and had a lot of fear about dogs and other things. I tried to get used to my fears and be more confident but that didn’t work.
How did you meet Jesus?
I went to church as a child and learned more about Christ. I considered asking Jesus into my heart, and then I sat down with my mom and I trusted Christ. I learned in church that Jesus loves me and he died on the cross to save me from my sins. John 3:16 is my favorite verse because it describes the gospel perfectly, “For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son that whoever believes in him shall not perish, but have everlasting life.”
After being saved by Jesus, what is your life like now?
God met my needs when I got bullied and had claustrophobia. He helped me through those times. God has continued to help me on my journey in faith. Romans 6:23 reminds me, “The wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus.”
