What was life like before you met Jesus?
During the time when I was lost I always wanted validation from everyone so I began to party, drink, etc. I always felt like I needed people to accept me and I wanted to fit in.
How did you meet Jesus?
I grew up in a Christian household therefore I always knew about Jesus. Growing up I went to church with my parents on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Sundays, I absolutely loved it. When I accepted Jesus into my life and heart, I knew I wanted to get baptized but being young I wanted to wait until I was older to truly understand the word of Jesus and what baptism was truly about. I have always prayed to God to send me a Godly like Husband and that’s exactly what He did. In my Junior year going into my senior year of high school, my then boyfriend (now husband) who I met in the Church growing up then began to message me and we started dating. We both began going to Church together on Sundays and my love for Jesus began, again. I saw Jesus save my brother, heal my heart, and bless me with more than I could ever imagine.
After being saved by Jesus, what is your life like now?
Being 22 years old and married is very strange for some people but I know I am right where I need to be. I recently got married in Guatemala in March, had my honeymoon in Europe, we bought our house in Dec of 2021 and moved in together right after we got married. I knew this was God’s plan all along and I am so blessed for this beautiful life He has given me. I have prayed for this for so long and God answered all my prayers. God healed my brother and is continuing to now move in his heart and I am so excited to see what God does for him, and I can’t wait for him to share his story. This is my testimony, God moves in mysterious ways but His plans are always better than ours and I am so firm on that. We know also that the Son of God has come and has given us understanding, so that we may know him who is true. And we are in him who is true by being in his Son Jesus Christ. He is the true God and eternal life. Jesus wants us to be saved and be with Him. We are His children. He made this sacrifice for us. We are saved through Jesus and that is the most beautiful gift of life.
