What was life like before you met Jesus?
Before I met Christ. I needed to find peace in my dad’s death. Things with him didn’t end the best between me and him. I was lacking the grieving. I put my head into school and work. When the ride was over it all came to me at one point. I tried turning to some things to try and fill time but it didn’t work out. They all left me empty inside.
How did you meet Jesus?
I found Christ through the Salt Co. It was welcome back week and I went alone. When it was over there was something telling me to stay. Then this person came up to me and said I should try a C group out. So I signed up. Next thing I know I had a family and they were helping me grow and believe in Christ. I went to Fall retreat and that’s when I was saved. It all started from one question. What benefits do you think God or Christians might have to offer? What do you not want God to change or transform in you?
After being saved by Jesus, what is your life like now?
After I was saved my story became easier to tell to people. I started to let more people in. I have felt happier in my day to day life knowing I have a family that cares a lot about me. It’s almost like all the pain and suffering was lifted from me after that day. I got brothers and sisters who care and I had a full family. The love from everyone around was amazing. I just don’t want to leave. There is love and people want to help and listen to one and other. I was also able to meet people that have been through similar things as me and relate to them and me. It feels like I belong now.
