What was life like before you met Jesus?
Before Jesus, I was putting my identity in other people rather than God. I was putting my friendships first no matter the cost. I would care more about spending time with my friends rather than spending time with my family and God.
How did you meet Jesus?
It wasn't until a couple of weeks ago that The Gospel became beautiful to me when my Connection Group Leaders sat down with me and explained to me who God is and how he died on the cross for my sins even though I don't deserve any forgiveness but he still did it. I am so happy for them to be here with me now, baptizing me!
After being saved by Jesus, what is your life like now?
After placing my trust in Jesus, I no longer put my identity into other people and always put my friendships first because I know now that I would never be alone because Jesus is always with me and on my side no matter what. I know now that I will always be with Jesus forever! 2 Corinthians 4:18 says “So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.”
