What was life like before you met Jesus?
I grew up in a Christian household that raised me up in the Word, and as long as I can remember my faith and hope has been in Christ. That being said, I know that I have not always been a Christian, as Ephesians 2:1-3 would tell me that I was once dead in my trespasses and sins.
How did you meet Jesus?
One of my earliest memories in life is my mom singing Jesus Loves Me as I would go to bed as a toddler. God has used so many circumstances, events, answered prayers, relationships, etc. both big and small over the years that have brought me closer to him and leave me in complete awe of his love and power at work in my life. “For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast.” Ephesians 2:8-9
After being saved by Jesus, what is your life like now?
Although I grew up in a Christian household, my faith in Jesus continues to strengthen each and every day. God has shown me that I can fully trust him with everything in my life. I know that in the end he works all things out for the good of those who love him, even when circumstances might be hard, tough, and painful in the moment. I lay down my life and surrender everything to Jesus because I know that a life with Jesus is what I was made for and the only thing that will fulfill me. Going through life with Jesus is so rewarding and fulfilling, and I couldn’t imagine living without him. Through Jesus, I have a personal relationship and eternal life with the true living God. “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.” John 3:16
