What was life like before you met Jesus?
In my life before Jesus I would always be looking for praise from other people and always be worried about what everyone thought of me, I would be so worried about what someone else would think of me that I completely disregarded my own thoughts and feelings. I tried to just do everything so that maybe someone would finally notice me. I ended up just totally mentally and physically exhausting myself.
How did you meet Jesus?
I went back to church about 2 years ago and all I remember seeing was this one little girl during worship time. She looked so happy and she was putting all of her soul into singing praise. After that I just really started to decipher all of the worship music I could and just found out about how much Jesus loves me and that I don’t need to be perfect or anything like that for Jesus to love me. Corinthians 13:13 says “And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.”
After being saved by Jesus, what is your life like now?
Jesus really spoke to me and told me that he will love me no matter what, I don’t need to care about what others think of me, just what God thinks of me. I have been a whole lot happier lately and I have found friends that will love me no matter what. This is one of my favorite verses about eternal life through Christ: “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.” John 3:16
