What was life like before you met Jesus?
Before Jesus, I didn't really feel like my faith was mine. I did the motions I was told to do. Through the years, I was confirmed as a Lutheran and then as a Methodist. I understood the purpose of being a Christian, I just wasn't with God, spiritually.
How did you meet Jesus?
The Gospel became beautiful to me when I was tired of living in the world. Through homelessness, family issues, and sexual immorality, I was tired and felt worthless. I had reached out to Stacia Bissell and her family graciously took me in. There "was no one thing" that brought me to God. It was more, God came to me. He opened my eyes to a life that was worth living for Him.
After being saved by Jesus, what is your life like now?
After placing my trust in Jesus I knew I was truly saved. My worries and anxiety started to fade away. I have been filled with peace and fulfillment. I still have a lot to learn, but I'm excited to do so.
