What was life like before you met Jesus?
God called me to his family when I was young, so I have a hard time remembering. I struggled with being selfish as I probably still do.
How did you meet Jesus?
God used my family, my church family, and my friends who spoke about and loved Jesus and spoke about Him to me often. I have memorized many verses at home during school and while attending Awana’s. One verse that I like and think explains the gospel well is John 3:16 which says, “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.” I want to be baptized to show others that I have put my faith in Jesus and to grow in my relationship with God.
After being saved by Jesus, what is your life like now?
He has given me a great family that encourages me in my faith. I know God loves me and forgives me when I sin. I know I can talk to him anytime and anyplace. I know he will always give me strength whenever I need it. A verse that I memorized that reminds me of my eternal life through Christ is Galatians 2:20, “I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.”
