What was life like before you met Jesus?
Before Jesus I was scared because I didn’t know what would happen when I die. I didn’t think about my sin. My prayers were focused on my own needs and things I wanted.
How did you meet Jesus?
Ian preaching about being saved a few weeks back. I woke up laying in bed and asked myself if I really believed in God that night? I went to my parents and said that I didn't know if I really believed but I knew I didn't want to go to hell. My Dad explained the gospel and told me some scriptures. Everything that he said I believed. I want to be with God for my whole life, praying to him and living with him for forever. I love Jesus a lot and believe in him, he brings me a lot of comfort and joy. I want to be baptized today because I want to show others that I'm saved.
After being saved by Jesus, what is your life like now?
I don’t feel like I have to worry about dying anymore because I know that Jesus died on the cross for my sins. After praying, the Lord comforts me and I have peace. I feel that the Lord is asking me to share the gospel at school with a troubled girl and I want to invite her to youth group. The Lord comforts me with anxiousness and the lord helps me calm down after prayer. I have memorized Joshua 1:9, “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened and do not be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”
