What was life like before you met Jesus?
I was short-tempered, easily irritated. I would get upset when I didn’t get my way. What was lacking was patience.
How did you meet Jesus?
I have known about Jesus all my life, but I was not listening to him. I learned from Romans 5:8 of God’s great love, that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us - for me. I began listening as He changed me. By grace, through faith, I have been saved. Now, in the last 10 years, I am listening and Jesus is growing me.
After being saved by Jesus, what is your life like now?
My love for Jesus and Jesus' love for me shows in my relationship with my family and friends. John 21:15-16 says “When they had finished breakfast, Jesus said to Simon Peter, “Simon, son of John, do you love me more than these?” He said to him, “Yes, Lord; you know that I love you.” He said to him, “Feed my lambs.” He said to him a second time, “Simon, son of John, do you love me?” He said to him, “Yes, Lord; you know that I love you.” He said to him, “Tend my sheep.”” Here we see that followers of Jesus show their love for Jesus by living life for the glory of God and doing what he calls us to do each and every day.
