What was life like before you met Jesus?
I considered myself a follower of Jesus. I went through all the steps. Baptism, catechism, confirmation. Life became filled with childhood issues, passing of my family, son with cancer -he is thriving now, praise God! However, I was so angry and feeling defeated.
How did you meet Jesus?
My best friend became ill, and she asked me to join in her Bible study. She passed before we were able to do it together. At her funeral, I received the information to start the study, from our childhood friend. I started coming to Veritas with her and her husband about a year ago. Since then some thing has happened to me, I find it hard to explain. My heart is constantly hungry for knowledge of Jesus. “The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trust in him, and I am helped.” Psalm 28:7
After being saved by Jesus, what is your life like now?
I believe Jesus has been there for me all along. I am so thankful that he has called me back to him! I find myself taking a pause, and understanding that I have the love of Jesus to keep me grounded. “Neither height, nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ, Jesus, our Lord.” Romans 8:39
