What was life like before you met Jesus?
I have grown up going to church my whole life. When I was younger, it was something my family did. Jesus has always been important to me. As I got older, I realized it was a decision I needed to make on my own. I needed to decide for myself that Jesus was the only way to salvation.
How did you meet Jesus?
When I went to church camp, I realized that I trusted Christ with my life. I met Jesus for myself at church camp. This was when I truly felt like I gave my life to Christ. The verses that have impacted me a lot are Ephesians 2: 8-9 “For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast.”
After being saved by Jesus, what is your life like now?
I know that I can always pray and talk to Him when things are hard. I know that He will listen and give me wisdom. I know that He will always forgive me if I ask Him for forgiveness. This is something that will carry me throughout my life. I am saved by grace and will never forget the gift He gave us by dying on the cross for me. Romans 6:23 says, “For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
