What was life like before you met Jesus?
Jesus was always part of my life, but I didn’t always put my trust in Him. I kept trying harder to do the right thing and hoped he would be good to me.
How did you meet Jesus?
In 1999, I was having some physical symptoms that led me to a doctor. They found a tumor on my seventh facial nerve. Without a seven-hour surgery, I would lose movement in my face, sight in my eye, and probably my hearing. I was scared. I had two small girls. Why did God let this happen? I read my Bible and came across Proverbs 3:5-6 which says, “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, lean not on your own understanding. In all of your ways acknowledge him and he will make straight your paths.” After reading this, I let go. I put my trust in God like never before. He was with me. I found that trust in God gave me peace.
After being saved by Jesus, what is your life like now?
I am committed to church attendance and connection group. I read the Word daily and am working toward becoming a mature believer. Christ is alive and active in my life. “For God so loved the world that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.” John 3:16
