What was life like before you met Jesus?
Before I met Christ I was searching for joy and acceptance in all the wrong places. Things like hanging out with the wrong people, partying, and unhealthy relationships.
How did you meet Jesus?
I took a Bible literature class in my senior year of high school. This is where I started to learn the importance and the need for Christ. After taking this course, I tried to learn how to be Christian but didn't have a community to support me. The gap year I took after high school wasn't the greatest for my growth as a Christian though I learned what It meant to be a follower of Christ. Since coming to Cornell, Christ has done amazing work in my life. He has shown me that the things of this world don't bring joy and that Christ is the true source of life.
After being saved by Jesus, what is your life like now?
I'm very excited to grow in Christ and continue taking the next steps in faith. “For GOD loved the world in this way. He gave his one and only son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life.” (John 3:16)
