What was life like before you met Jesus?

Before I met Jesus deep down, I had many problems facing depression, loneliness, and living without any known purpose. I tried to block out and avoid these problems by drinking, smoking, and chasing after women.

How did you meet Jesus?

God revealed himself to me in a unique spiritual experience where I fell into his presence. I felt like a child in his presence and gained the utmost respect and fear for the Lord. In his presence, I was told to get a Bible and to start reading it. Nothing in my life has been more exciting than going to get a Bible and start reading after when I was told this under the presence of God. After my experience, I felt true conviction for how I was living, which led me to get myself a Bible. After I started reading the Word, I knew what I had to do, and I got down on my knees, confessed my sins, asked God to give me new life, and started living my life for Christ.

After being saved by Jesus, what is your life like now?

Christ has changed my life completely. I've gained true peace of mind, heart, and soul, knowing my true purpose in life and being saved. Christ has helped me repent of sins I never thought I could leave behind and continues to bless me daily with his love and wisdom he has for me. I've been blessed to find such an amazing church to be a part of, and I'm excited to symbolize my new life in Christ through baptism at Veritas!
