What was life like before you met Jesus?

Before I met Jesus, I was prideful and did not want to admit that I was wrong. I thought that my good works would save me.

How did you meet Jesus?

Last year, my mom prayed with me, and I asked for God’s forgiveness. I do not want to live in fear. I do not want to live without God. 1 John 1:9 states, “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” I want to get baptized because I believe that Jesus’s death and resurrection saved me.

After being saved by Jesus, what is your life like now?

Now, I see my sin and ask for God’s mercy. “There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Jesus Christ. For the law of the spirit of life has set you free in Christ Jesus from the law of sin and death.” Romans 8:1-2. When I am afraid, I find peace in prayer and reading God’s Word. His Word is Truth and Comfort to me.
