What was life like before you met Jesus?

I was lacking a base for my life. Always searching for the next thing to cause happiness and never joy. I found my identity in video games and sports.

How did you meet Jesus?

I grew up in a Christian household but started exploring my faith when I was 17. I was invited to a college ministry back home which led me into community and to grow closer to God. Galatians 5:22-23 says, “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law.” I started to see these as a by-product of where my faith was going, and I knew Christ was the foundation I needed.

After being saved by Jesus, what is your life like now?

He met me at my lowest and raised me to my highest. He is the fulfillment of life that nothing in this world could provide. My identity is now in Christ, Galatians 2:20 says, "I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me."
