What was life like before you met Jesus?

Before I met Jesus, much of my life was consumed with trying to achieve through the sport of baseball. I remember trying to succeed in baseball with the hopes of making my dad happy and proud.

How did you meet Jesus?

This past February, a "random" contact had connected with me and had told me that she felt the need to tell me that I needed to go back to church. This was in the middle of a very stressful season of my life, where I was consumed with worry about my health and finances. That week, I went to church at Veritas and remember hearing Colossians 3:2 explained, which happened to be a verse that I was thinking about the week before. I believe that God used these events to ease me of my worry and stress and to help me place my trust in Jesus.

After being saved by Jesus, what is your life like now?

Since placing my trust in Jesus, I have sensed more peace in life. God has also given me a greater desire to work to honor Him. I have grown in my desire to read the Bible and share Jesus with those around me. Isaiah 53:6 has been a great promise for me to cling to.
