What was life like before you met Jesus?

From a young age, I experienced the pain of growing up with an alcoholic father who was both emotionally and physically abusive. Our home was filled with fear, instability, and hopelessness. My older brother would take my sister and me to church occasionally, this is when I met Jesus. Night after night, I would pray for my family and for peace and safety. Through the love and grace of Jesus, I found healing, forgiveness, and unconditional love. This Bible verse has helped me was Psalm 56:3, “When I am afraid, I put my trust in you.”

How did you meet Jesus?

As years passed, I found myself married with three children but facing a new set of challenges. My husband struggled with alcohol and stepped away from the family, which brought fear and uncertainty into our home. In the darkest moments, I fell to my knees and cried out to God for help - for myself and our kids. At that moment, I found strength in Exodus 14:14, “The Lord will fight for you, you need only to be still.” At that time, I felt peace, knowing that God alone could bring about transformation and healing. Miraculously, God intervened and saved our marriage with the help of a Christian counselor.

After being saved by Jesus, what is your life like now?

God showed up and answered my prayers. I have found grace in the Lord, knowing that he is always with me, guiding me through every trial. Luke 1:37 says, “For nothing will be impossible with God.” I also find peace in Romans 5:8, which says, “But God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.”
