Before Jesus Changed My Life

I was leaning into things of this world to feel I had purpose. I kept falling short. I would drink to numb my feelings and responsibilities. My priorities were not in line with God’s truth, yet he still rescued me.

How Jesus Changed My Life

Jesus has changed my heart, He loved me when I was a sinner and forgave me. I know I can hand over all of my anxieties and worries. I have a desire to know Him and have a relationship with Him. I cling to the scripture from Matthew 6:34, “Therefore do not be anxious about tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.” This reminds me to pray more and worry less. Because I know the love Jesus has for me, I want to share with everyone I know.

My Life After Jesus Saved Me

I can literally see hope in hard situations, that was definitely something I was not able to do before. When I’m struggling, which I still do. The amazing peace that washes over me when I surrender and give it to Him. I have a desire to learn and understand scripture. I do know this world isn’t my home. My home is with Jesus.
