Before Jesus changed my life, I was focused on work and succeeding in my career for fulfillment. I struggled with balancing my work with my family life and was constantly anxious and stressed.

How Jesus Changed My Life

Jesus used a good friend from my connection group to open my heart to him. After a great discussion one night, she asked if I had ever invited Jesus into my heart. I had never thought about it that way or how much I needed him. After I got home, I prayed and asked Jesus to enter my heart. I could literally feel the Holy Spirit entering my body. Before that point in time, I was just going through the motions. Now my faith truly meant something to me and was giving me purpose. Ephesians 3:17 says, “so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith…” Jesus died on the cross to save us from our sins. Those of us who believe shall receive the power of the Holy Spirit and will ultimately be made new in eternal life with God our Father. Romans 6:23 is a good example of this, “For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

My Life After Jesus Saved Me

Now that I am a true believer, my hope is found in the Lord. In times of need, I turn to him in prayer. My husband and I pray and read scripture together which has brought a new fulfillment to my life. I know I have eternal life through Jesus Christ through his teachings in John 3:16, “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.”
