Before Jesus Changed My Life

I grew up going to church and accepted Christ in my heart at a young age. Although I grew up in a Godly home and went to church all the time my whole life I didn’t fully understand the true commitment in following Christ and ended up looking to things in the world to give me my purpose and acceptance.

How Jesus Changed My Life

Through some circumstances that happened in my life I realized only God could give me purpose and fulfillment. The gospel is the message of salvation. God sent his son who died on the cross for us. We are made to love God and be led by God, but our sin separates us from God. We need to repent, call upon God, treasure God above all else, and walk in faith by the Word of God and the Holy Spirit. When I chose to follow Christ I often times referred to the verse Jeremiah 29:11 "For I know the plans I have for you declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."

My Life After Jesus Saved Me

Today, I look to God when I am going through good and challenging times. Turning to God gives me His peace that surpasses all understanding, with an everlasting hope and joy, no matter my circumstances. I want to be baptized to show my commitment to follow Christ.
