Why Parent Commissioning is Important October 28, 2021 | Ian Crosby For the Christian parent, discipleship is the primary goal of parenting. It’s not helping them get dressed on their own, brush their own teeth, graduate with straight A’s (or simply graduate for that matter), or sending them off into adulthood into one piece. Those are all great things, but they aren’t the goal. Read more Community Parenting
Church: The Good, the Bad, and the Beautiful June 30, 2021 | Jake Each What comes to mind when you hear someone say “church”? We all have had experiences that shape our attitude and influence our perspective, whether they are joyful, tearful, or somewhere in between. In order to endure the certain struggles of being part of the church body, we must have a clear vision of God’s great purpose for the church. Read more Community The Church

The Church and Unity July 22, 2020 | Jake Each Diversity is such a beautiful picture of God’s kingdom. In my life, I have tremendously benefited from being a part of different Christian communities. In college at Arizona State, I was a member of a predominately African American church in Phoenix. While at Moody Bible Institute in Chicago, I was a part of a Korean church. I’ve pastored in a church in small town, rural Iowa and in a church in the very affluent East Valley outside of Phoenix. All of those experiences have been wonderfully shaping in my life. A fuller expression of God’s diverse kingdom is good for our discipleship. Read more Community The Church

Example of Discipleship September 4, 2018 | Matt Thede Men are not known for having lots of guy friends where they can have deep conversations about life. It just doesn't come naturally to us.
