What was life like before you met Jesus?
Before I met Christ, I was in a life full of sin. I put alcohol, relationships, gambling, and all other kinds of things before Christ. Something always felt off, though, because I knew I was better than this and knew I was meant for more. The feeling of finding my place in life just wasn’t there yet.
How did you meet Jesus?
One of the circumstances that I was put in was the ending of a relationship. After my last relationship, I felt as if there was nothing left for me, and already being a college athlete and stressed about school and athletics, I didn’t know what to do. Luckily, a Bible sat right in front of me at that very moment, and without hesitation, I opened it. Something that came up to me during that time was 1 Peter 5:7 “ Give all your worries and cares to God, for he cares about you.”
After being saved by Jesus, what is your life like now?
Overall I am in a very happy state of mind and have treated others around me with more kindness and gratitude than I ever have in my life. I’ve thrown away past sins and don’t look back. I pray and worship Christ more than I ever have, repent my sins, and live a life for and through Christ. I have always grown up in the church but got very distant, and I feel like that’s when my life took a turn. Now turning back into the direction of Christ, I feel as if my life is complete.
