I have begun to trust him more and seek Him when I need Him. In trusting Him, my anxiety and stress has slowly faded away.

Now, I make the daily choice to follow Jesus. I know that my worth is determined only by what He thinks of me, and He calls me chosen, forgiven, and free. I'm 100% certain that my eternity will be spent with Jesus, not because of anything I've done but because of the work Jesus did when He died on the cross in my place.

At the Salt Co. Fall Retreat, while learning about the life of David, my eyes opened to who Jesus is and what He did for me. I now understand that Jesus paid it all on the cross.

I was a slave of sin and free of righteousness, but there was nothing fruitful about it, no joy, and there is an end to it, and that end is death. The lord saved me and freed me from the evil my life was.

Since that night, I started regularly praying to God and asking for his forgiveness of my sins. I have grown to see my need for regular repentance and how I can respond to the grace of Jesus in worship.

To the glory of God, I dedicate myself to following Jesus and what he commands us in the Bible. I am now alive in Jesus.

The first time I believed the gospel was when I was 10 on Good Friday when I recognized my sin for the first time and what Jesus did for me, how he died on the cross for my sins so I could be made right in the eyes of God.

Christ has changed my life completely. I've gained true peace of mind, heart, and soul, knowing my true purpose in life and being saved. Christ has helped me repent of sins I never thought I could leave behind and continues to bless me daily with his love and wisdom he has for me.

When I started obeying Jesus, reading my Bible, and learning from church, it was like coming up for fresh air. It was clear to me that God sent His one and only son, Jesus Christ, Our Lord, to be the savior of my life, to die on the cross for his accusers to put death to our sins.

My life is different. I have faith in Him instead of the things I looked to before. I don’t feel alone anymore. I know that He is always by my side. I have a family and connection to others at church.
